A Quick Note about Our Prices and Value for Money
A skilled osteopath doesn’t rush. They take the time to hear your story, carry out a careful examination, provide considered hands-on treatment, and ensure you understand what’s going on with your body and leave with a plan to facilitate change. An easy way to gauge this level of care is to see whether the practitioner tells you upfront how long your appointment will be. While many osteopathy clinics schedule 30-minute slots, Dr Christoph Datler chooses to offer full 60-minute consultations/treatments — which make a significant difference to your experience. When given the choice, existing patients confirmed they value the longer appointment times despite the higher cost per visit.
Our extended appointments create the space needed for higher-quality care. By the time you’ve discussed your symptoms, settled in, and changed clothing, a 30min visit may leave only 15–20 minutes for actual manual therapy. Our 60-minute session, however, typically allows 45–50 minutes of uninterrupted treatment. This gives scope to explore several problem areas in one visit, refine the diagnosis, and work without feeling hurried — often reducing how often you need to come back. Fewer, longer sessions also cut down on travel, minimise disruption to your routine, and create a calmer environment that supports more effective therapeutic change.
From a value perspective, one £130 60min appointment provides far greater therapeutic depth and continuity than two to three £60 half-hour visits. You receive substantially more hands-on time for your investment, and you are less likely to require a string of closely spaced follow-ups. Longer sessions can save time while delivering more meaningful and lasting results at a favourable or similar overall price point.

All-inclusive Promise and Cancellation PolicyEach appointment includes an effective combination of all our TREATMENTS and EXPERT SERVICES at no extra cost - the one stop clinic for your health! Your time as well as that of our practitioners is important to us. If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hrs in advance and we can cancel/move your appointment. This is based on mutual respect and repeated failure to attend without notice might prevent you from booking future appointments. Short notice cancellations do not allow the slot to be offered to patients on the waiting list and are charged at the full fee.
